Want A Jacket Like Kristen Stewart's In Breaking Dawn?
Flightless Bird, American Mouth- Wedding Version- Song And Video!
UPDATE- With Interview - Kristen Stewart's HQ Glamour UK Photos
On comparing London life to the States:
"In L.A. you have to be fairly selective about where you go, but I'm so fine here. It's similar to New York, in that people are doing their own thing and they feel like they're probably cooler than you, so I tend to be able to get around very easily. We have bars, clubs and restaurants [in the US], but here you go to the pub for the afternoon and you have lunch. In an American publication, that would seem like, 'She's hitting the bars in London!' but it's just a different mentality here."
“People can say whatever they want …[The interest] is totally understandable, but when it’s personal to you, it’s like your life becomes a product, and I’m repelled by that,” Kristen says. “I don’t like to give away gems that people are gonna be like. ‘Oh m God!’ So I’ll always just shrug it off — in fact, I always find it kind of funny, and not just with Rob.”
So does Stewart, a tabloid fixture, google herself?
“Not any more, man,” Kristen says before adding: “I do like to look at what I wear, though. It’s not like I put on a f–king dress and don’t care about it after.”
Kristen does talk about her onscreen sex scene with Rob. It was almost too hot for moviegoers! Under 17, at least:
“It was so weird, it didn’t even feel like we were doing a scene within a Twilight film. I was like, ‘Bella! What are you doing? Wow! What is happening here?!’ It was very surreal. We [originally] got rated R [restricted for under 17s], They recut it.”
Kristen has been spending time in London filming Snow White and the Huntsman and at the end of the interview, she is quizzed on whether she is an Brit Girl or LA Woman:
How do you take your tea?
With milk and a little bit of honey — which is weird, I guess.
What’s your pub drink?
[Proudly] It’s a pound.
Gastropub or old-man boozer?
Oh, old-man pub, definitely.
Sausage sandwich or bacon butty?
I don’t know what a butty is. [I explain] Oh, bacon.
How do you feel about beans on toast?
I love beans on toast.
Sunday roast of choice?
Chicken or lamb.
Have you adopted any British swear words, like ‘wanker’?
I love that word, but in my accent, the funny thing about using British slang — ‘fucking wanker’ — is it just sounds so off.
American jocks or British lads?
[Looks momentarily ruffled, hides a small laugh and does an 'aw, shuck' gesture] Well, I’m kind of repulsed by jocks from anywhere, so I have to go with the lads.
Favorite British music?
Laura Marling. Man, I’m such a huge fucking fan. Rob introduced me to her on Twilight because he thought that [her music] was right for the movie. I love her.
Favorite London hangout?
I’ve had some really good roast dinners … the Swan & Edgar in Marylebone.
Favorite London memory?
[Another laugh] God, I can’t even tell you, so annoying. Erm, hmmm … I spent my last two New Years here, and both of them were fucking incredible.

Making Bella Pregnant: The How To Guide... According to Breaking Dawn Special FX

awn.com Montreal, Que: Oct 20, 2011... Montreal-based studio Modus FX recently delivered invisibly integrated visual effect shots for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1. The latest installment in the wildly popular romantic vampire series based on the novels by Stephenie Meyer opens in theatres on Nov 18. Incorporating a stylized look as a visual expression of the more-than-human qualities of the characters, the film required seamless CGI (computer-generated imagery)and a refined aesthetic.
A team of 12 artists at Modus had six weeks to complete 42 shots for the film, which included creating a pregnant belly for lead actress Kristen Stewart, digitally removing a wrist brace she was wearing in another sequence and a variety of subtle cosmetic refinements.
Yanick Wilisky, visual effects supervisor and co-founder of Modus FX, described the challenges of creating organic CG. “We are all so used to seeing organic objects and surfaces. If something is just slightly off, you know it’s fake - even if you can't put your finger on exactly what the problem is.”
Making Stewart look pregnant was one of the tasks assigned to Modus. “They wanted the baby to kick and move inside her belly,” said Wilisky. “We had to match the camera moves, the lighting, even the film grain, along with the subtleties of her skin.”
In fact, according to CG supervisor Martin Pelletier, “The two hardest things to work with in CG are water and skin.”
“For this project, we had to be really quick in terms of turn around,” he explained. “We made use of very complex lighting from the set, adding 3D layers, and a matchmove of her stomach, to make her look pregnant. We took our time at the start to get the recipe right and that paid off in efficiency once we got going. We were soon able to turn around several shots each day.”
"Hand-Crafted" Visual Effects
In one central sequence – the wedding of Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) – the camera pans around the newlyweds as they embrace. However, due to a minor wrist injury, Stewart was wearing a brace on the day of the shoot. Naturally, the brace had to be removed in post.
“Matchmoving a close-up is a good example of the challenges of organic CG,” said Pelletier. “We started with a CG model of the hand and then carefully crafting the rig to create natural motions. Once we had that, every minute movement of the hand had to be matched exactly.”
The shot, which is over 300 frames, called for extensive camera tracking and object tracking. Lighting artists at Modus rendered the actor's hand with subsurface scattering to capture the partial translucence of skin and make it look believable.
“Tracking was particularly challenging, because when they were shooting it, they weren’t thinking about it as an effects shot. There was no camera metadata for the sequence,” Pelletier explained. “The solution was to do a series of careful manual adjustments until we had correctly replicated the light sources on the set. For work like this, it really takes the eye of a skilled artist to get it right.”
“Bella is moving in the shot as the camera circles around her,” Wilisky added, “She’s holding Edward’s hand, so we needed to recreate parts of his hand, along with some of the background. It was a highly technical and complex shot, but no one will see any of that when they watch the movie.”
The Modus Pipeline
"We have developed a very efficient pipeline for visual effects in live action shots, particularly for aspects such as motion tracking," said Wilisky. Along with in-house proprietary technologies, Modus uses tools such as PFTrack, Mocha Pro and the Nuke 3D package. “The shots we delivered on Twilight are similar to the type of invisible effects work we’ve done in the past on films like The American, Barney’s Version and Jane Eyre. The studios recognize that we have a strong pipeline and that we know how to deliver.”

Melissa Rosenberg's Q&A With Glamour - Breaking Dawn Deets
Glamour magazine had the chance to chat with The Twilight Saga screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg. What followed was a live chat on their facebook, with plenty of Breaking Dawn Part 1 scoop:
Favorite scenes in the movie/books?
"I'd have to say the honeymoon scenes. very romantic and playful. lovely to see Edward and Bella having fun".
Percentage of book (Breaking Dawn) actually in the movie?
"Because we split the one book into two movies, it gave us a lot more room to include as much as possible from the books. Particularly in the first part. We wanted all our favorite scenes to be included - of course everyone has different favorites, but hopefully you'll be happy."
Wondering what to look forward to (other than everything?):
"There are some AWESOME romantic scenes for Bella and Edward! Seriously. The wedding is lush and emotional, the honeymoon is truly sexy. Trust me on this one."
On the wolves:
"There was a lot of discussion about the inter-wolf dialogue. In the end, the book pretty much dictated our approach making most of it voice over - but in a stylized way".
On the music:
"Music is obviously a HUGE component of our movies. But the story always comes first. I actually don't write to music. I find it can color my mood, and hence a scene. The only outside influence I want when I'm writing is the book."
On Stephenie Meyer:
"Stephenie has been a wonderful collaborator. She, like the Producers, director and studio, gives me feedback on every stage of my process - from outline, to first draft to finished draft. Additionally, whenever I'm stuck on a scene or a storyline, I'll call or email her to either ask her about a certain character's backstory, maybe even the color of a certain wolf's fur, or to just bounce ideas around."
On Edward:
"Indeed Edward begins BD1 in a much lighter place - and yes, it was a very conscious choice. He's marrying Bella! He's the happiest vampire in the world. And then the honeymoon, though not without its... complications, is playful and romantic. But then - things get very dark, very fast, and Edward is at his darkest moment yet."
Has she seen Breaking Dawn Part 1?
"I've seen a couple different cuts, and will see the most recent soon. I was sitting in the theater with some other people and began to hear gasps - I was worried for a moment, thinking, oh no, they're laughing (at a very serious moment). Then I realized, no, theyre crying. Not just crying, sobbing!"
On actors and their roles:
"Watching Kristen and Rob embody those characters is a screenwriter's (and everyone else's) dream. Their chemistry is amazing, and very rare. But writing for Jacob, tracking his growth, translating his passion, fire and sense of humor - that's fun."
On scenes that may have been cut:
"There's not a screenwriter alive who hasn't had favorite scenes cut, either for budget reasons in production, or for pacing and storytelling reasons in editing. But honestly, when I saw the various cuts of the movie, I have to say I didn't miss them, can't even really remember what they were!"
On adapting Stephenie Meyer's books:
"Nothing's harder than the completely blank page of an original screenplay. So it was a joy to adapt Stephenie's work, which lends itself beautifully to film storytelling."
On her cameo appearance in Breaking Dawn Part 1, working with Bill Condon, the birth scene:
"I was on set for the most important scene in the movie! The wedding! If you look closely, you'll see me as one of the wedding guests (along with our producer Wyck Godfrey and Stephenie too!)".
"After writing for Dexter for four years, I've come to understand that what's most terrifying isn't necessarily what you see, it's what you DON'T see. The book really informed the way I wrote the scene - all from Bella's point of view. It conveys her terror, and the terror of Edward and Jacob. And Bill directed it with such intensity, I was mesmerized." (Read more on Bill's perspective of the birth scene).
"I've worked with many directors over my 20 year career (wow, 20... that just aged me!). And of course, I've work with several on the Twi series alone - ALL of whom were truly unique, great experiences (and I'm not just saying that). But I will say that, in my very long career, my collaboration with Bill was the best writer/director collaboration I've ever had. I think a lot of that is because he himself is a screenwriter (academy award winning no less!). So he spoke my language - story, stucture, character, theme. He helped me take the characters to new emotional depths... He's generous, and collaborative. I could go on and on."

Kellan Lutz Covers Men's Fitness And Has His Shirt Off... Again
Hello, Biceps. Bonus point to the Twi-Crackers who can tell me where that came from!
Okay, Kellan's arms looked jacked in this picture. He is super cute, he really is. But the veins are kind of creeping me out. Just me? --Ashes
Anyway Kellan is on the cover of Men's Fitness which comes out October 18th. Here is what he had to share with the magazine-
On his six brothers, one of them a Marine: “I had so many older brothers who beat up on me, so I’m a tough kid. I love mixed martial arts, weapons training, guns, knives, driving fast cars, and motorcycles. I love it all. I’m a thrill seeker.”On training for Immortals: “I ate 16 eggs every morning. I got up to 220 pounds of solid muscle. We’d work out every day. Shooting one scene could take all day—and when that’s just driving a Humvee at five miles an hour, we had energy to burn. We were doing push-ups on top of the Humvees. We were throwing wheels and rocks. We were timing each other, betting who can do the most push-ups, just to keep our sanity. We did these [UFC fighter] Bas Rutten tapes, where it’s like, ‘OK, shadowbox! Defense! Shadowbox! Drop to the ground!’ Within 30 minutes, you’re dripping. And it’s Africa. So it’s hot as balls out there. We pushed each other to be the best we could be.”
